Tattoes and body art are becoming mainstream and teenagers often see body decoration as a rite of passage. This special class provides parent and their teen with a perfect solution - a way to experiment with body art that is temporary, safe and pain-free! This class demonstrates the techniques and discusses the origins and history of henna, safety issues, recipes for mixing henna and basic elements of design. Come work side by side with your teen on projects, designed to be fun for all ages. Grandparents, uncles, moms, dads or special adult friends are welcome to bring a teen! Also, take home a goody bag filled with basic henna designs and materials! Material fee per team of teen and adult: $15.00

This class is a great way to get young children and adult family
members together to create works of art.
Family artists will help each other in creating coil pots and slab
constructions and everyone will be able to experiment on the potter's wheel. Students will also learn sculptural
techniques to create figurines. Our main
emphasis will be to have fun and create interesting three-dimensional
pieces. Final projects will be fired and
glazed near the end of the session.

Explore the exciting versatility of clay! Children will create coil pots, slab
constructions or figures. Students will also explore using the potter's wheel. Beginners will be given basic instruction and

from a mystery material supplied the first day of class. Then they will
learn to use the sewing machine to make it. The last class will end with

This cartooning course is for
beginner and intermediate students. The course will cover how to draw cartoon
heads, expressions, poses, action which will lead up to the students drawing
