Lego’s are a great way to build teamwork, learn negotiating skills, make new friends, be creative and fine tune motor skills. Krazy Kool Legos consists of building Lego projects each class. The students will be split into groups of 3-5 children to work together on a project. There is a theme each class for each group to work on. Some of the themes include creating a zoo or jungle, a secret fort, a movie theater, a carnival, a vacation spot, etc. At the end of building time, each group tells the other students about what they have made and how they have made it.  The creations that each group has made are then broken down and put back in the Lego boxes by the instructors. The Lego’s are the property of Shari Kendall-O’Neill and will not be distributed at the end of each class or the end of the session. Each student is also working towards being a “Lego Master” each class. The criteria for becoming a Lego Master is discussed and strived for each class.  There will be a special Lego Master trophy for each student at the end of each session.
