The camps at the
ECC are state licensed and are the highest in quality. Our staff has over 30 years
of experience in the field. Our staff are all screened and trained so we may
provide you with counselors that are highly motivated and professional.
Although safety and fun are our main focus, we also present the children with
educational events that deal with science, computers, physical education,
creative arts, and much more! The camps are open to all of

The ECCs summer camp program is completely flexible. Your
child may choose to participate for just one week or the whole nine weeks of our
summer program or any number of weeks in between to suit your own familys
summer planning. For working families there is also an early drop-off and late
pick-up option for your convenience. We do not accept single day sign ups.
If you would like
to learn a little more about the camps, you may wish to attend one of the camp
open houses.

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
A $100
non-refundable fee is required as a deposit for a one week session and a $200
deposit for two or more weeks. You may either send a check payable to the ECC
or use your MASTER or VISA card. Payment
in full is due before
HEALTH INFORMATION
The Connecticut
State Health Code requires that every child must have a current, confidential
medical form completed by a physician.
This form will be sent upon registration and must be returned by the
first day of camp. A school medical form, or a physical within the last year,
will be acceptable.
If we
are not in receipt of a completed medical form by the first day of camp then
the camper will not be permitted to attend the camp.

LUNCH - Lunch is provided for all full day
campers. Half day campers please bring along a snack. We try to meet all special dietary requests
and provide alternatives for those who have special dietary needs. Snacks are
available in the afternoon at an additional cost. You may also pack a lunch for
your child.
REFUNDS - In the event of cancellation you will
be charged the deposit fee for administrative costs ($100 for one week and $200
for multiple weeks). The tuition balance
is refundable if your child cannot attend camp and we are informed two weeks
before the start of that session. Withdrawal requests must be made in writing,
No telephone requests will be honored. NO refunds can be made for early
departure (e.g. illness, injury or home sickness).
EARLY AND LATE PICK-UP
To help
accommodate working parents the ECC offers an early drop-off and late pick-up
option. Campers may be dropped-off into the care of our expert staff at

receive our vital information package and medical form when they send in their
registration. The health form must be completed and submitted before your child

The
Wanderers
Boys and Girls
(ages 4-6)
The summer Wanderers
Camp runs for 9 weeks and is designed to provide a summer full of fun and
activities for young campers who were in Pre K, Kindergarten and First Grade
during the 2007-08 school year.
The Wanderers Camp
is available as both a half day and a full day program.
Lunch is provided
to full day campers.

use any CITs (counselors in training). Each staff
member is specially selected for their skills and attributes with the younger
age group. Under the guidance and supervision of our experienced staff,
Wanderers campers will enjoy a wide variety of activities. These include:
Movement Skills --
Developing and
improving hand-eye and movement coordination that will enhance dexterity and
balance.
Mini Sports -
Scaled down versions of a variety of popular sports with adapted equipment.
Each sport is taught within an adventure type environment.
Story Time Our
counselors will read from traditional favorites to modern children's
literature.
Arts & Crafts -
A wide spectrum of art and craft activities that will introduce campers to a
variety of art forms and an opportunity to explore their own unique
imagination.
Singing
and Music - A combination of popular songs plus some special camp tunes and the
opportunity to make music of their own.
Special Days &
Events - There will also be a number of special events that take place
throughout the summer, such as hat days, color days and carnivals.
All of these
activities are carried out in a positive environment that makes The Wanderers
Camp a great choice in the development of a youngster.

Explorer Camp

Explorer Camp
revolves around a range of fascinating, exciting, and stimulating topics. These
topics are especially designed to challenge, absorb, and enrich each camper.
The camp is designed for Boys and Girls Grades 2-8(ages 7 13). Children will
be divided into groups according to age and enrollment.

The success of
Explorer Camp is undoubtedly the quality of our teaching staff. All are highly
successful young teachers, educators and motivators who are selected from the
areas top colleges and universities. They are complemented by our experts and
guest speakers during special events.
The philosophy of
Explorers Camp is one of experimentation, and experience. Children will learn
through a complete "hands-on" approach, highlighting exploration and
critical analysis.
The learning
environment that Explorer Camp creates allows for the individuality of personal
expression. There are constant
opportunities and limitless challenges, all of which take place under the
constant guidance of our expert teaching staff who will nurture, enlighten, and
motivate your children towards new and interesting goals.
In a typical week of
Explorer Camp a child will participate in computers and other specialty
topics. The schedule is flexible and
will be altered to accommodate theme days, guests and group presentations.

The ECC is

ECC Tennis Camp
takes place on the ECCs air conditioned indoor court

Mike Talbot, who currently
runs Cheernastics classes at the ECC and has ten
